There's something magical about golden hour at Recreo Cantina. Maybe it's our hand-shaken margaritas made with premium agave spirits. Maybe it's the way our chef transforms Latin and Southwestern classics into crave-worthy plates that keep you coming back. Or maybe it's that perfect moment when the Arizona sun dips low, the patio lights flicker on, and you realize you're exactly where you need to be.

I could not believe the food. It was extraordinary! I was not expecting it because I like Mexican street food, but this was better. We have been back five times. My wife said the fajitas are the best she has ever had. My favorite is the prime skirt steak with shrimp. I had never heard of Charro beans but they’re incredible. Last time I was in, I had the chicken special. We spent the evening on the patio and the atmosphere was fantastic. The lighting was just right, and the music was not too loud. I imagine this to be my favorite Mexican restaurant for years to come.
